MUSCAT: Oman will receive the first batch of Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine by end of June or early July, Minister of Health has confirmed.
In an interview with Oman News Agency, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said 200,000 of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine will arrive in the first batch.
He also confirmed that talks are underway to obtain more doses of Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine before end of March. Al Saidi also said some people are reluctant to get vaccinated with Oxford – Astzeneca / vaccine, stressing that the Sultanate will not use any vaccine or medicine until after its safety and security is confirmed.
