For the first time in four months, Oman registers more than 1,000 cases

The last time Oman recorded the highest three-day figure was on November 1, 2020 when MOH registered 1,300 COVID-19 cases.

MUSCAT: Oman on Sunday recorded the highest number of COVID-19 cases reported in three days since November 2020, according to a new data published by the Ministry of Health.

On Sunday, the Sultanate recorded 1,059 cases in just 72-hours despite tough restrictions imposed by the authorities including closing all commercial activities at night.

On November 1, 2020, MOH registered 1,300 cases the highest three-day figure.

Meanwhile, the total number of death cases touched 1,591 after eight people died on Sunday.
