MUSCAT : Street vendors and mobile food shops are also included in the list of commercial activities that must be closed between 8pm to 5am until March 20, according to Ministry of Commerce, Industry and investment Promotion.
Last week, the Supreme Committee imposed a nationwide night closure of all commercial activities in the wake of rising coronavirus cases in the country.
In a statement issued by the Ministry on Sunday said commercial activities in industrial areas must also abide the decision. “The decision of the Supreme Committee commercial activities of all kinds and those in the industrial areas must also abide by the decision,” the statement from the Ministry said.

Earlier on Saturday, the Muscat Municipality said any commercial activity found violating the decision will be issued with a fine of OMR 300, while repeat offenders will be slapped with a fine of OMR 1,000 and cancellation of licence.
