MUSCAT: Passengers arriving in Oman from February 15 must undergo mandatory institutional quarantine, Government Communicate Center (GC) has confirmed.

As reported by The Arabian Stories on Thursday, passengers can pre-book any hotels at their own expense or choose the hotels listed by the competent authorities.

Due to lack of compliance to home quarantine, and in the wake of rising coronavirus cases, the Supreme Committee imposed mandatory institutional health isolation on travellers arriving in the country. “We wish to note that arrivals can book any hotel, or benefit from the list of hotels updated by the Centre of Relief and Shelter Operations with coordination with components authorities,” GC said in a statement.
