MUSCAT: Passengers arriving in Oman can stay in any hotels or take choose the list of hotels prepared by the competent authorities for mandatory institutional at their own expense, starting from February 15, according to Civil Aviation Authority.
In a statement issued to all operating airlines in the country on Thursday, CAA said the decision applies to all flights arriving in the country from February 15 at 12 pm onwards.
Passengers will have to book in a pre-confirmed hotel and stay for at least seven days quarantine.

“For all flights arriving in Oman starting from Monday, 15th February 2021 at 12:00 pm , the operating airlines are committed to ensuring that there are confirmed hotel reservations for all the arrivals on their flights covering the mandatory quarantine period of atleast 7 days,” CAA said in the statement.
“Passengers arriving in Oman can book accommodation at any hotel in Oman or take advantage of the list of hotels prepared and updated by the competent authorities for institutional isolation,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, the authorities have issued a list of hotels that passengers can take advantage of. In Muscat Governorate following hotels are listed: Sheraton Hotel, Ibis, Swiss-Belinn Muscat, Somerset Panorama Muscat, Tulip Inn and Secure Inn.
In Musandam governorate, Dibba Beach Hotel and Khasab Hotel are listed, while Alpha Hotel Salalah in Dhofar Governorate are listed to accommodate the passengers.
Arena Hotel in Buraimi, Al Diyar Hotel in North Al Sharqiyah, Golden Rays Hotel in South Al Sharqiyah, Mecure Hotel Sohar in North Al Batinah are also listed to take the passengers.
