MUSCAT: Muscat Municipality has removed several abandoned cars in Muttrah area on Monday morning.
In a statement issued, the Municipality also warned vehicle owners of strict action. “Part of our work to maintain the aesthetics of urban facade, Muscat Municipality in Grand Mutrah tows away cars abandoned in public areas in the wilayat,” the statement said.
Removing abandoned vehicles is based on Administrative Decision 171/2018, which was issued to regulate the issue of neglected vehicles in public places.
