MUSCAT : On the occasion of World Pasta Day 2026, celebrated annually on 25 October, the Embassy of Italy in Muscat, in cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA/ICE), organized a dedicated B2B matchmaking event to promote Italian pasta and the excellence of the wider Italian agri-food sector in the Sultanate of Oman.
The event took place at The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat, bringing together Italian companies and key representatives of Oman’s food and beverage sector, including importers, distributors, buyers, hotels, restaurants and other F&B operators.
The initiative provided participating Italian companies with an opportunity to showcase a diverse selection of authentic Italian food products, including pasta, peeled tomatoes, olive oil, mozzarella, provolone, olive pâté, truffles and flour. As Food Sponsors, participating companies were able to present their products, offer tastings and establish direct business contacts with potential Omani commercial partners.
