The meeting also examined procedures to improve coordination between regulators and retailers, including measures to ensure service continuity and maintain safety standards.
The CPA said the initiative formed part of its broader efforts to strengthen partnerships with the private sector, improve preparedness for potential market disruptions and ensure a prompt response to developments affecting consumers.
It reaffirmed its commitment to protecting consumer rights, enforcing pricing regulations and maintaining a safe and stable shopping environment across Oman.
The authority did not announce any new pricing restrictions or changes to existing retail regulations following the meeting.
