MUSCAT : A low-pressure trough is expected to affect Oman from Sunday, October 25, bringing thunderstorms to the Hajar Mountains, neighbouring areas and parts of Musandam’s coastline, Oman Meteorology said on Saturday.
The unsettled weather could extend to coastal areas along the Sea of Oman and is expected to persist intermittently for several days, according to a forecast issued by the Civil Aviation Authority.
The authority said anticipated effects include rainfall of varying intensity, flows in some wadis and ravines, lightning and occasional hail.
