MUSCAT: Police in Oman have detained an Omani man after he appeared in a social media video promoting marriage to a woman of Arab nationality without the required authorisation, the Royal Oman Police said.
The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command detained the man and referred him to the Public Prosecution for further legal proceedings, police said in a statement.
