MUSCAT — Police in Oman’s North Al Batinah Governorate have arrested two Arab nationals accused of defrauding an Omani citizen of RO29,000 by claiming they could multiply his money and generate financial profits, the Royal Oman Police said.
The arrests were carried out by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command in cooperation with the Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation.
Police said the suspects used deceptive methods to convince the victim that his money could be multiplied to deliver financial gains.
