MUSCAT — The decree is based on the Basic Statute of the State, the Omani Nationality Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 17/2025, and the requirements of the public interest.
Under Article I of the decree, Omani nationality is reinstated to those whose names appear in the attached list.
Article II stipulates that the decree must be published in the Official Gazette and comes into force from the date of its issuance.
