MUSCAT : The agreement was signed by His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Amri, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, and by Eng. Talib bin Hamoud Al Rashdi, Acting CEO of ITHCA Group.
The project will establish an integrated digital platform to automate municipal services and improve coordination between governorates, enhancing government efficiency and simplifying access to services.
The unified system will cover a range of municipal transactions, including building permits, lease agreements and licences. It will also incorporate secure electronic payment channels and a centralised database to support planning and decision-making.
By standardising services and procedures across governorates, the initiative is expected to improve the user experience while strengthening the integration of municipal operations nationwide.
