MUSCAT : Oman expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia and rejected the targeting of civilian facilities or threats to the kingdom’s security and the safety of civilians during a telephone call between the two countries’ foreign ministers, Oman TV reported.
Oman’s foreign minister HE Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi conveyed the position to his Saudi counterpart His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud during the call, according to the statement.
The ministers stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation, as well as strengthening efforts to contain tensions and reinforce de-escalation.
