MUSCAT : Oman police have arrested seven people suspected of involvement in 18 incidents of vandalism and theft at electricity distribution stations that caused power outages in some areas, the Royal Oman Police said on Thursday.
The arrests were made by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command, police said in a statement.
The seven suspects had prior criminal records, according to the statement. Police did not identify the suspects or specify the locations of the stations affected.
