MUSCAT — Oman Food Investment Company’s portfolio recorded a 40% rise in revenue in 2025 compared with the previous year, Chief Executive Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Rashdi said.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation rose 28% over the same period, Al Rashdi said in an interview with Enjaz & Eejaz, a magazine published by the Oman Investment Authority.

He said restructuring food-sector companies and bringing them under a single umbrella had helped align strategy, strengthen coordination and improve resource management and decision-making, while advancing investment projects.

Al Rashdi also highlighted a partnership with global meat group JBS in Al Bashayer Meat Company and A’Namaa Poultry Company.

JBS will invest up to $150 million, equivalent to about RO 57.7 million, to develop production, expand capacity and transfer international expertise, he said.

The company aims to move beyond meeting domestic demand by building competitive production capacity and opening wider regional markets for Omani products, Al Rashdi added.
