MUSCAT: According to the latest seasonal climate outlook issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for October, rainfall is expected to be above average in northern Oman, around average across most other areas and below average along the Arabian Sea coast.
The seasonal outlook also forecasts above-average temperatures across Oman during October, with the warmer-than-average conditions expected to continue through November and December.
In November, northern Oman is expected to have a higher probability of above-average rainfall, while rainfall across the rest of the country is forecast to remain around average.

By December, rainfall is expected to be around average across most of Oman, although northern areas could still see above-average rainfall.
The three-month outlook covers October, November and December 2026 and provides a preliminary indication of broader climate trends. The authorities stressed that seasonal forecasts do not replace regular short- and medium-range weather forecasts, which should continue to be monitored for more specific and updated conditions.
