MUSCAT — Oman’s Ministry of Labour said 18,747 people benefited from its employment and training programmes in the first six months of 2026, putting it at 57% of its full-year target of 33,000 beneficiaries.
The programmes combine skills development with job placement to prepare Omani job seekers for private-sector opportunities, the ministry said.
Training initiatives aim to align participants’ skills with employers’ needs and support their entry into the labour market.
