Reaffirming its continued commitment to supporting community-focused initiatives and promoting the values of solidarity and cooperation across society, Meethaq Islamic Banking from Bank Muscat is participating as a strategic sponsor in the fourth Zakat Conference and Exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs from 27 to 29 September 2026 in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate. The event will bring together experts, researchers, specialists and stakeholders in the fields of Zakat and Islamic finance.

Meethaq’s participation builds on its strategic partnership and continued cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs and reflects its commitment to supporting initiatives that raise awareness about the importance of Zakat and its role in strengthening social solidarity and contributing to sustainable development.  It also builds on Meethaq’s involvement in previous editions of the conference, where it highlighted key topics related to Islamic banking, Sharia governance, and the management and development of Zakat funds in accordance with the principles of Islamic Sharia. 

Through its participation this year, Meethaq will also introduce visitors to a range of Islamic banking products and solutions designed to meet their evolving needs. A dedicated team will be available at Meethaq’s booth throughout the exhibition to engage with visitors, respond to enquiries and provide information on key products and services, including the savings plan, Iskaan financing, credit cards and the national Maal card, alongside other Sharia-compliant banking solutions.
