MUSCAT : The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, led by the South Al Batinah Governorate Police, arrested the six individuals as part of efforts to combat drug trafficking and related crimes.
According to the police, the suspects were found in possession of more than 40 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and hashish, as well as tablets containing psychotropic substances.
The substances were allegedly intended for trafficking. Authorities also seized a firearm from the suspects.
