AICHI-NAGOYA : Oman celebrated a double podium finish in the men’s 100 metres after sprinters Ali Al Balushi and Mohammed Al Balushi claimed silver and bronze respectively at the 20th Asian Games.
The two Omani athletes produced strong performances in the final to finish among the top three in one of athletics’ most closely watched events.
Their results handed Oman two medals from a single final and underlined the national athletics team’s strong showing at the Games.
