FSA honours Omani winners of GCC Smart Investor Award

The Omani awards were distributed across several competition tracks, with four awards in writing, four in photography, one in drawing and two in video production.

MUSCAT : The Financial Services Authority (FSA) organised a ceremony honouring the winners of the 4th season of the GCC Smart Investor Award, attended by H.E. Abdullah bin Salim Al Salmi, Executive President at the FSA, and representatives of the supporting entities from the Ministry of Education and Ubhar Capital. The ceremony was held in recognition of the outstanding results achieved by the winners across the various award categories, which culminated in the Sultanate of Oman securing 11 awards across the school, university and individual categories. It also recognised the winning Omani talents and their creative contributions to producing content that encourages financial and investment literacy and simplifies investment-related concepts in diverse and accessible ways for different segments of society.

The Omani awards were distributed across several competition tracks, with four awards in writing, four in photography, one in drawing and two in video production. The awards spanned the school, university and individual categories and included a number of leading positions, including several first-place awards.

The organisation of the ceremony reflects the FSA’s commitment to encouraging national participation in GCC initiatives focused on financial and investment awareness, while motivating young talent to use their creative abilities to produce content that helps simplify financial and investment concepts and promotes sound investment practices across society.

The GCC Smart Investor Award is one of the financial and investment awareness initiatives organised by the securities market regulatory authorities of the Gulf Cooperation Council states. Its 4th season attracted over 300,000 entries across the writing, photography, drawing and video production tracks.
