MUSCAT : The reminder comes as Oman observes World Patient Safety Day on September 17, 2026, with this year’s campaign focusing on safe care for people living with noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) under the slogan “Safe care for life!”

The ministry encouraged everyone aged 35 and above to undergo regular screening, highlighting early detection as an important step in preventing or managing chronic diseases and supporting timely healthcare.

“Check and be reassured,” the ministry said, calling on those aged 35 and above to make screening a regular part of their healthcare routine.
