MUSCAT: Alizz Islamic Bank has been awarded the ‘Best Transformation in Islamic Banking in Oman 2026’ award by the World Union of Arab Banks, in recognition of the Bank’s significant transformation journey and the major strides it has made across its business, digital capabilities, customer experience and banking solutions in recent years.
The award was received on behalf of Alizz Islamic Bank by Mr. Ali Al Mani, Chief Executive Officer, during a ceremony held in Istanbul, Türkiye, attended by prominent banking and financial leaders from across the region.
The recognition reflects the Bank’s transformation journey over the past few years, which has focused on redefining the banking experience to meet evolving customer expectations and the rapidly changing banking landscape, while remaining firmly rooted in the principles and values of Shari’a-compliant banking.
