Oman CPA seizes 937 non-compliant school supplies and toys in Nizwa

Oman’s Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has seized 937 non-compliant school supplies, children’s toys and pens in Nizwa as part of intensified market inspections following the start of the new academic year.

MUSCAT : The seized products included 321 school notebooks bearing images and phrases deemed contrary to public morals, along with 616 children’s toys and pens featuring images of skulls and skeletons.

The seizure was carried out by the CPA’s Directorate in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate as part of the authority’s ongoing efforts to monitor markets and ensure that products comply with consumer protection requirements.
