MUSCAT: Royal Oman Police (ROP) have arrested two Asian nationals in the Wilayat of Al Seeb after they were allegedly found in possession of more than 30 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine intended for trafficking.
The arrests were carried out by the Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances as part of ongoing efforts to tackle the trafficking and distribution of illegal narcotics in the Sultanate, ROP said in a statement.
Police said the suspects were taken into custody and that legal procedures against them are being completed.
