MUSCAT: LuLu Hypermarket has been named ‘Retailer of the Year’ at the 5th TAS Oman Business Awards, recognising its strong presence in Oman’s retail landscape and continued focus on customer experience, accessibility and service.

The prestigious award was presented by HE Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Majlis Al Shura, during the awards ceremony held at IntercityHotel Muscat.

LuLu Hypermarket has established an extensive retail presence across the Sultanate, serving communities through its network of hypermarkets and stores and offering a broad range of groceries, fresh produce, household products, electronics, fashion and lifestyle products.

The retailer has continued to invest in its operations and customer experience as Oman’s retail sector evolves, combining its physical store network with digital services to respond to changing consumer preferences.

Its operations also support a wide network of suppliers and producers, including locally sourced products, contributing to the wider retail and supply-chain ecosystem in the Sultanate.

The Retailer of the Year award recognises LuLu Hypermarket’s sustained presence in the market, scale of operations and contribution to the development of modern retail in Oman.

The recognition was among 25 awards presented at the fifth TAS Oman Business Awards, which celebrated businesses, entrepreneurs, leaders and achievers across a range of sectors.

Organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS), the annual awards have developed over five editions into a platform recognising excellence, leadership, innovation and impact across Oman’s corporate and entrepreneurial landscape.

The fifth edition brought together senior executives, entrepreneurs, industry representatives and members of Oman’s business community for an evening celebrating achievement across the Sultanate.
