MUSCAT: Burjeel Hospital has been named ‘Best Private Hospital’ at the fifth TAS Oman Business Awards, recognising its contribution to Oman’s healthcare sector and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

The prestigious award was presented during the TAS Oman Business Awards ceremony at IntercityHotel Muscat, which brought together senior executives, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and representatives from across the Sultanate.

Burjeel Hospital has established a significant presence in Oman’s private healthcare landscape, providing a range of medical and surgical services while expanding access to specialised care.

The hospital’s approach combines clinical expertise, medical technology and patient-focused services, as healthcare providers across the Sultanate continue to respond to growing demand for advanced and specialised treatment.

The Best Private Hospital award recognises Burjeel Hospital’s efforts to strengthen standards of healthcare delivery, enhance the patient experience and contribute to the continued development of the Sultanate’s private healthcare sector.

The recognition comes as Oman continues to place greater emphasis on strengthening healthcare capabilities, improving quality and expanding the role of private-sector providers in supporting the country’s long-term development objectives.

Organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS), the TAS Oman Business Awards recognise businesses, entrepreneurs, leaders and achievers for excellence, innovation and impact across the Sultanate.

The 2026 ceremony marked the fifth edition of the awards, with 25 winners recognised across a range of sectors, including banking, healthcare, technology, real estate, retail and entrepreneurship.

The event was held under the patronage of HE Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Majlis Al Shura, and brought together prominent members of Oman’s business and professional community.
