MUSCAT : According to a circular issued by the ministry, the restriction applies to promotional and media materials related to training programmes and events, including content published on social media platforms.

The ministry said it had observed instances of private training institutions using its logo or name in advertising and other promotional content without obtaining the required approval.

Under the circular, private training institutions must obtain prior written approval from the relevant department at the Ministry of Labour before using the ministry’s logo or name in advertisements, publications, media or marketing materials, or on social media.

The circular also prohibits institutions from publishing any content that could suggest the existence of official accreditation, sponsorship, partnership or cooperation with the Ministry of Labour unless such claims are supported by official approval or documentation.
