MUSCAT : Held from September 1 to 3 under the patronage of His Excellency Azzan bin Qasim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, the workshop is organised by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
The programme seeks to support an integrated national halal ecosystem and help businesses and institutions operating in tourism and food services better understand halal standards and their application.
The workshop also aims to leverage opportunities arising from the Islamic economy by developing technical and knowledge capabilities among organisations involved in the sector.
The initiative is also intended to open new avenues for investment and market access, supporting the development of halal-related businesses and services in Oman.
