MUSCAT : The FSA issued Administrative Penalty Decision No. 21/2026 on August 24, 2026, citing the company’s delayed disclosure of the audited financial statements after they were approved by its Board of Directors.
The warning was issued under Article 58/A of the Securities Law promulgated by Royal Decree No. 46/2022.
Muscat Insurance said the regulatory decision relates solely to the timing of the financial disclosure and does not involve a monetary penalty or any restriction on its insurance operations.
The company said it remains fully committed to complying with applicable laws and regulatory requirements, reaffirming its focus on sound corporate governance and operational integrity.
