MUSCAT : The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism congratulated Al Waili on his accomplishment, which it said highlights the presence of Omani talent in international mountain-running competitions.
Al Waili competed alongside elite mountain runners from around the world on one of the most prominent mountain-running routes.
The ministry said the achievement also highlights the potential of sports and adventure tourism as promising areas for Oman’s tourism sector, supported by the Sultanate’s diverse terrain and natural and mountainous landscapes.
The ministry added that the participation comes within the framework of its strategic partnership with the Ironman Group to host and organise international sporting events.
The CCC race is part of the HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc 2026 competitions, held in France.
