Muscat: The forum was held in Salalah from August 23 to 26, bringing together participants with a shared interest in the history, archaeology and cultural heritage of the GCC region.
In a cable of thanks addressed to His Majesty the Sultan, the participants conveyed their deep appreciation for the hospitality they received during their stay in Oman.
They also praised Dhofar Governorate for its rich historical heritage and distinctive natural beauty, highlighting the region’s picturesque landscapes and cultural significance.

The participants further commended the rapid development witnessed across Dhofar in the tourism, economic and development sectors, noting the governorate’s growing prominence as an important destination in the Sultanate.
