MUSCAT: As families prepare for the new school year, BankDhofar is reinforcing its role as a partner in social development and individual empowerment by offering innovative financial solutions that help Omani families plan for their children’s future. Through its Education Savings Plan, the bank is helping parents build a secure financial foundation to support their children’s educational journey.

The initiative reflects BankDhofar’s ongoing commitment to promoting financial literacy while encouraging prudent financial planning and long-term saving habits. The Education Savings Plan provides families with a practical and disciplined way to prepare for the costs of higher education and university studies.

The plan enables parents and guardians to establish an education fund for their children through monthly deposits starting from just OMR 10. This allows families to steadily grow their savings while working towards their children’s educational aspirations.

As part of its commitment to making the plan accessible to a wider segment of society, BankDhofar has linked the program to the Child Benefit received from the Social Protection Fund, broadening access to sustainable savings solutions that benefit students and families alike.
