MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a Royal pardon for 459 prisoners convicted in various cases, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said on Tuesday.
According to the ROP, the pardoned inmates include both Omani citizens and expatriates.
The Royal pardon comes on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) Birthday, which falls in the month of Rabi Al Awwal 1448 AH.
