MUSCAT: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, presided on Monday over a ceremony marking the anniversary of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
The ceremony, held at Al Mawlid Hall in Al Alam Palace, featured a recital of the Biography of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) in commemoration of the occasion.
The event was attended by members of the Royal Family, ministers, senior military commanders and heads of diplomatic missions of Islamic countries accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
