MUSCAT : His Excellency Dr Hamad bin Saeed Al Maamari, Wali of Muttrah, has reviewed the latest developments in the Aint Marina Project as authorities continue consultations with residents, fishermen and the company investing in the development.

The meeting, attended by representatives of the investing company, residents of Aint Village and local fishermen, focused on the progress of the project, key community demands and the challenges facing the contractor carrying out the works.

Discussions explored possible solutions to the issues raised, with an emphasis on strengthening coordination among stakeholders and ensuring that observations and community requirements are followed up as the project moves forward.

Representatives of Oman Flour Mills Company also attended the meeting. The company is expanding its geographical operations and constructing additional silos.

The discussions examined opportunities to utilise and reuse soil and rock waste generated by project works, with the aim of maximising available resources and supporting more sustainable construction practices.

The Office of the Wali of Muttrah said the meeting was part of its continuing efforts to maintain direct coordination with relevant entities and the local community, address challenges and support projects that serve the public interest.
