MUSCAT: The authority said consumers can submit complaints online by first accessing the Hema platform and logging in. New users must create an account by entering their Civil ID and its expiry date, or their residency details. Users can then select the search icon to retrieve their information and proceed with registration.
How to file a complaint through Hema
After logging in, consumers must verify their personal information and confirm their phone number before proceeding with the complaint.
They must then identify the type of provider involved:
• Registered Provider: Select this option when the establishment is officially registered.
• E-Commerce: Select this option when the purchase was made through a website or social media platform.
The next step requires consumers to provide information about the business or service provider. This may include the Commercial Registration (CR) number or any other available details that can help identify the provider.
