LAHORE:Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has received message from Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on the eve of Pakistan Day, March 23.

Khan took to Twitter saying, “Received message from Indian Prime Minister Narendra.”

Modi extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of Pakistan on the National Day of Pakistan, Imran Khan said.

“It is time that people of Sub-continent work together for a democratic, peaceful, progressive & prosperous region, in an atmosphere free of terror and violence,” Modi told PM Imran Khan.

Pakistan and India relations deteriorated following Pulwama attack.

On Saturday, Pakistanis will celebrate Pakistan Day, which is observed on March 23 every year to commemorate the passage of Lahore Resolution on this day in 1940 when the Muslims of the Sub-continent set the agenda of a separate homeland for themselves. – With input Agencies
