MUSCAT – The value of securities traded also increased by 654.8 percent to reach RO 6,923.403 million, while the total number of securities traded rose by 337.4 percent to 23,157.424 million securities, according to the latest data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The data showed that the Financial Sector Index stood at 13,085 points by the end of June 2026, while the Industrial Sector Index reached 9,757 points and the Services Sector Index stood at 3,050 points.
In terms of net investor transactions during the first half of 2026, foreign investors recorded net buying of RO 73.877 million, while Omani investors recorded net selling of RO 773,000.
GCC investors recorded net selling of RO 66.983 million, while Arab investors recorded net selling of RO 6.121 million.
