MUSCAT: The initiative invites residents and visitors to explore some of Dhofar’s best-known attractions while enjoying traditional Dhofari hospitality, presentations on Omani cuisine, interactive activities and cultural competitions. The ministry has encouraged visitors to reserve seats in advance through a QR code, with each trip limited to 40 passengers.

Running from July 24-30 and August 8-14, the programme combines sightseeing with culinary experiences designed to highlight Omani food as a key component of the country’s tourism sector while supporting local chefs, entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises.

The second tour route, operating on July 27-28 and August 11-12, departs from Al Hafa Beach Market and passes through Al Gharf to the Al Nahda Tower Roundabout, covering about 20 kilometres. Services run every 50 minutes between 4 pm and 10 pm, with each journey lasting around 40 minutes.
The first route operates between Al Hafa Market, Al Baleed Archaeological Site and Al Dahariz Beach, while the third route links the Return to the Past site with the Al Wafa Walkway. Both routes feature multiple daily departures during their scheduled operating periods.
