MUSCAT – In an advisory issued, the ministry said the cool weather, fog and drizzle that characterise the Dhofar Khareef season should not overshadow the need to protect against mosquitoes, which can pose health risks.
It advised visitors to wear appropriate clothing, use mosquito repellent and avoid areas where mosquitoes are likely to be abundant. It also encouraged the public to remain alert for any unusual symptoms and seek medical attention promptly if they feel unwell.
