Iran’s army said it had launched missiles and drones towards the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, which is used by US and allied forces.
Tehran also claimed it had launched another wave of drone attacks against US military facilities in Kuwait. Iranian forces have previously said they targeted military equipment, ammunition facilities and air-defence systems at bases in the country.
