MUSCAT : Air Tanzania has announced a scheduled passenger service connecting Muscat with Zanzibar via Dar es Salaam, expanding travel options between the Sultanate of Oman and Tanzania.
According to the airline’s published schedule, flights will depart from Dar es Salaam to Muscat every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, leaving at 8:00pm and arriving in Muscat at 2:20am the following day.
The return service from Muscat to Zanzibar via Dar es Salaam will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing Muscat at 3:50am and arriving in Zanzibar at 9:20am.

The new route is expected to strengthen tourism and business links between Oman and Tanzania, while offering travellers convenient access to Zanzibar, one of East Africa’s most popular island destinations.
Air Tanzania said reservations and ticketing for the route are available through its authorised sales representative in Muscat.
