Muscat: With nearly two decades of leadership experience across logistics, government services, airport operations and retail transformation, Sayyid Nasr brings a strong blend of public and private sector expertise to the role.

Prior to his appointment, he served as Executive Director for Travel Retail and Premium Services at Transom Handling and as Chief Postmaster General at Oman Post, where he was involved in strengthening services across retail, e-commerce and government operations. His leadership journey reflects a focus on service excellence, institutional growth and national value creation.

In a statement shared on LinkedIn, Sayyid Nasr said Oman Duty Free’s mandate now extends beyond traditional retail. “Today I serve as Chief Executive Officer of Oman Duty Free, a national travel retail enterprise. Our mandate spans air, land, and sea, and our ambition reaches well beyond Oman’s borders,” he said.

He added that the focus is on building an institution that reflects the dignity of the Sultanate and meets the expectations of the modern traveller, while creating lasting value for the nation.

As one of the proud owners of Amouage, Oman’s internationally renowned perfume house, he said he carries forward a family tradition where entrepreneurship and heritage meet. “For me, service and enterprise are inseparable, each demanding resilience and each leaving behind an impact that lasts,” he said.
