The Medical City for Military and Security Services has signed an agreement to acquire a modern robotic surgery system as part of efforts to enhance healthcare services and adopt the latest global medical technologies.

MUSCAT : The new system features advanced capabilities, including high-resolution three-dimensional imaging and robotic arms that provide surgeons with greater precision and control during surgical procedures.

The technology is expected to improve clinical outcomes, expand treatment options and support the training and development of medical and technical staff in the latest surgical techniques and practices.
The agreement forms part of the institution’s strategy to strengthen its medical and operational capabilities and reinforce its position as a leading healthcare provider offering treatment in line with international standards.

The initiative also supports the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, which aims to develop a modern, sustainable and innovation-driven healthcare sector.
