MUSCAT – In a statement, the centre said it responded to a distress call from the Cyprus-flagged commercial vessel GFS GALAXY, which issued a mayday after the incident.
All 23 rescued crew members were provided with the necessary medical care, while specialised search and rescue teams continue efforts to locate one crew member who remains missing.
