MUSCAT – In a circular issued to entities and individuals wishing to hold artistic activities, the ministry stressed the need to coordinate in advance with the Directorate General of Arts and secure the necessary regulatory approvals before commencing any event.
The ministry said the licensing service is available through the official electronic portal Munjez, urging organisers to comply with the names and details approved in the issued licences and ensure that all artistic activities are conducted in line with approved records, permits and regulations.
The ministry warned that organising artistic activities without obtaining an approved licence violates the applicable procedures and called on groups currently conducting such activities without permits to regularise their status and complete the required legal processes.
