MUSCAT : Oman’s Tax Authority has removed Global Financial Solutions from its approved list of accounting firms following a decision by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to deregister the company from the register of licensed accounting and auditing practitioners. (FSA)
In a notice issued to taxpayers, the Tax Authority said the firm’s removal was made in accordance with the FSA’s decision and urged businesses and taxpayers to take note of the update to ensure compliance with approved auditor requirements. (FSA)
The move comes days after the FSA issued Decision No. 2/2026, removing Global Financial Solutions from the register of licensed accounting and auditing practitioners in Oman. The decision effectively revoked the firm’s authorisation to provide licensed auditing and accounting services in the Sultanate. (FSA)

With the latest action by the Tax Authority, Global Financial Solutions is no longer recognised as an approved accounting firm for tax-related purposes, meaning taxpayers must ensure that any audit or accounting services requiring approved auditors are conducted through firms that remain on the authority’s approved list.
The Tax Authority reiterated the importance of complying with regulatory requirements and encouraged taxpayers to verify the status of approved accounting and auditing firms before engaging their services.
