ISLAMABAD : Pakistani media, citing security sources, reported that violent clashes and heavy gunfire broke out between the attackers and security personnel after the assailants stormed the facility, resulting in casualties among police forces.
Security authorities deployed additional reinforcements to the scene of the incident to secure the area, and began a large-scale search operation to track down the perpetrators and clear the surrounding sites.
